Built in 2001, she features a distinctive twin-cockpit layout, separating the aft working cockpit from a dedicated guest cockpit amidships. Entirely free of lines and winches, this inviting space allows guests to relax and enjoy life at sea, while sail handling remains conveniently separated.
Under her current ownership, BOAVISTA has benefited from extensive refits in 2017/18 and 2021/22, reflecting a substantial commitment to maintaining and upgrading the yacht. Major improvements include a renewed teak deck, new rod rigging, a new sail inventory including a furling gennaker, updated navigation electronics, air conditioning and a new watermaker.
Importantly, these investments extend well beyond the visible equipment. Considerable attention has been devoted to the yacht’s technical infrastructure, including extensive overhauls of the main engine and generator, refurbishment of the bow thruster and substantial upgrades to the freshwater, black water and grey water systems. The underwater hull underwent extensive treatment in 2022, including the application of a new epoxy protection system, with the process independently inspected and documented by a technical expert.
The result is a carefully maintained and extensively upgraded Swan 60, offering the character and sailing qualities of a classic Swan alongside the benefits of significant investment in her equipment and systems.
