Designed by Germàn Frers, the Swan 651 blended the latest technology from Grand Prix Maxi and Whitbread design with the high quality craftsmanship of Nautor Swan. The result was a performance hull with high volume and excellent sea keeping characteristics.  

Papirusa has only had two owners since its launching in 1987, and the current owner has always ensured that both its aesthetics and performance are maintained at an exceptional level.

The teak overlay decks were replaced at the highly reputable Nautech facility in Annapolis, MD, in March 2007.  

Apart from an occasional Swan Regattas, the Swan 651 has only been cruised, primarily on the West Coast of the US but also on the east coast of the US and more recently in the Med.

She is now lying in Spain and ready for her new owners to step onboard and sail away.
